Several prominent federal judges have criticized Justice Department leadership for permitting gross misconduct with scant sanction. Sample articles are listed below:

“Judge Uses U.S. Attorney Installation Ceremony To Send Message” is by Andrew Ramonas. This article covers comments in 2010 by Massachusetts Chief U.S. District Judge Mark Wolf critical of the Justice Department’s oversight of prosecution misconduct.

“Siegelman's First Trial Judge Blasts U.S. Prosecutors, Seeks Probe" is by Justice Integrity Project Executive Director Andrew Kreig. It decribes a letter to Attorney Gen. Eric Holder by U.W. Clemon upon his retirement last year following nearly three decades as a federal judge in Alabama.  Clemon urged Holder to review the prosecution of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman, which Clemon described as the most unfounded he had observed in his career.
